11 games featuring 22 teams to follow Opening Day Ceremonies

Be sure to join all of your West Suburban Little League friends in the Opening Day celebration of the 2019 season Saturday, April 27th beginning at 10am on Callet Field.  Included in the Opening Ceremonies will be the recognition of all 35 WSLL teams from each division and a special first pitch for any child and their parent/grandparent that has played at West Suburban since 1951.  Game action following the ceremonies begins at high noon with a the much anticipated Tee Ball season opener between The Haven and Bill Carney followed by a clash between Ken’s Bilo and Picking Treece Bennett at 1:30 on Jones Field.  A tripleheader of games on Callet kicks off with an 8u Softball rivalry  matchup between Stryking Boutique and Eat N Park at 12:30.  All four Majors Division teams will be in action beginning at 2:30 with Santo’s Pizza taking on Pitt  Bull Technologies followed by JR&S meeting up with Team Oakley at 4:30 on Callet.  Miller Field will host a pair of Intermediate Division games beginning with a showdown between Hertz and Jake’s Pub and Grill at 12:30 and RNDT, Inc. facing off with The Rolling Hills Sluggers at 4:30.  A 10u Softball contest between Westwood Kiwanis and Nilson Law will take center stage at 2:30 on Miller Field.  Minor Field will host a tripleheader of Machine Pitch games beginning with Sportsman’s squaring off  with  A.J. Gallagher at 12:30  followed by Watson Insurance tangling with The Tax Lady at 2:30 and concluding with Ben Franklin Plumbing battling Chico’s at 4:30.  Come out early to be part of  celebrating the 68th year of West Suburban and stay all day to enjoy Little League Baseball and Softball competition.  There is no need to pack a lunch or dinner as the concession stand will be open all day.
